Philly Food SHARE

This project explores the opportunity to create “food hub” in Philadelphia, expanding the current operations of the SHARE Food Program. Utilizing a series of case studies and a refined understanding of the Philadelphia food system, Philly Food SHARE: A Regional Food Resource Center is an innovative approach to the USDA Food Hub concept. In this model the focus is on the three primary constituencies, grower, processor and eater. Through this approach component of the resource center can be better crafted to serve a more complete set of needs within the food system. This work was especially relevant for SHARE Food Program as they move forward with their efforts to expand programming to relieve the impacts of hunger in the region.

Role: Design and layout of report, diagrams, logo design, and concept development.
